Tairua Overview

Pristine beach north of Tairua Estuary, Tairua boasts a more northerly orientation compared to surrounding areas, attracting N and NE swells. Its steep shoreline results in notably hollow and powerful waves. Frequently, the southern tip offers a solid right bank. Favored by SW offshore winds, it also handles S winds well.
